Fourteen schools are closed in Kosovo due to new cases of COVID-19 amongst students and staff.
The spokesperson of the Ministry of Education and Science in Kosovo, Dillza Kukaj said that the number of students that tested positive for COVID-19 positive are 130, while there are 148 teachers reported as infected.
“All the schools that are already closed, are working according plan C- online teaching,” Diellza Kukaj told Free Europe Radio. She added that this number of infected is the data from October 23.
The Ministry of Education has foreseen that in this academic year, teaching will be realized through three scenarios. Scenario A – learning in schools’ facilities, scenario B or combined learning involves students presence in schools combined with distance learning, and scenario C is distance learning or online.
In the last 24 hours in Kosovo, 197 people tested positive with coronavirus out of 1018 tested.
