A total of 190 Albanian citizens have sent in their applications to become a member of one of the three institutions that will oversee the vetting of the judiciary branch: the Independent Qualification Commission (KPK), the Appellate Council (KA), and the Public Commissioners.
The final list was published by the National Ombudsman. Before Thursday 23:59 the Ombudsman will draft two lists, one with qualifying and one with non-qualifying candidates. These two lists will then be forwarded to the International Monitoring Operation (ONM) for a first round of vetting before Parliament makes a final decision on the three vetting institutions.
