Yesterday morning, a protest of Aleanca Kuq e Zi in memory of the four victim of January 2011 led to clashes with the police. Protesters threw tear gas into the direction of the police forces positioned around the Prime Minstry. The police removed the protesters from the Prime Ministry with force, making four arrests.
During his speech on the Boulevard of the Martyrs, moments before clashes erupted, Aleanca Kuq e Zi leader Kreshnik Spahiu announced the movement “Rama ra” (“Rama has fallen”). He also declared that from March 2 onward, they would place tents in front of Parliament, prohibiting all deputies from entering.
