President Trump’s envoy for the Kosovo-Serbia negotiations, Richard Grenell will retain his post and is eager to start work.
Grenell’s spokesperson Dick Custin told RFE/RL that he is waiting for the new Kosovo government to be formed before and the dialogue to restart.
“Ambassador Grenell is looking forward to the successive talks in the framework of the dialogue, as soon as the new government is in place,” Custin told RFE/RL.
DPA reported today that Grenell will resign as US Ambassador to Berlin in the coming weeks.
On Tuesday, his temporary assignment as acting Director of National Intelligence will also come to an end.
