Albania has administered more than 250,000 COVID-19 vaccine shots, Minister of Health Ogerta Manastirliu announced on Friday.
The country is mainly using the CoronaVac vaccine by Chinese Sinovac company, but it has also received some supplies of the Sputnik V, Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccines.
The total supply received by Albania exceeds 400,000, of which about 300,000 CoronaVac doses arrived from Turkey.
During the ongoing electoral campaign, Prime Minister Edi Rama has promised to inoculate 500 thousand people before June.
