50 Bodies Recovered after Albanian Earthquake, Search for Victims Over

Search and rescue teams recovered another body from the rubble in Durres, bringing the death toll to 50. Search operations are now over in all areas affected by the magnitude 6.3 earthquake that hit Albania on November 26.

In a government meeting this morning, Prime Minister Edi Rama said that 41 people are still hospitalized, 3 of which were taken in hospitals outside the country.

The prime minister also announced that verification of buildings and damage assessment are under way.
