On Sunday afternoon, police in Vlora stopped a speedboat loaded with narcotics and headed for Italy.
Vlora Police in collaboration with the Italian Guardia di Finanza and the US Delta Force seized 577 kg of cannabis.
The loaded speedboat was ready to depart from Karaburun, Arusha Bay in the coastal city of Vlora when it was apprehended.
The police arrested 3 people during this operation, after confiscating the cannabis.
This is the fourth large amount of drugs seized in Albania in collaboration with the Italian and US police.
