Health authorities have announced that tests on 8 suspected cases of coronavirus in Albania have resulted negative.
The announcement came after a meeting of the task force formed to deal with the situation that includes the Ministry of Health, the Institute of Public Health (IShP), the State Health Inspectorate (IShSh) and medical experts.
Experts underlined that there is no confirmed coronavirus case in the country, and that authorities are following the situation closely.
Yesterday, the government announced it has increased preventive measures against a possible outbreak of infections in Albania:

Authorities advise anyone who has returned to one of the affected countries in recent days and has flu-like concerns to notify National Emergency 127 before going to hospital.
