99 Percent of Coronavirus Victims in Italy Had Existing Illnesses

A study by Italian health authorities concluded that 99 per cent of coronavirus deaths in the country were patients with existing health problems.

The study examined 335 victims and found that only 3 of them had no prior illness before being infected by Coronavirus.

Nearly half of them – 48.5 per cent – had 3 or more health problems before they were diagnosed with COVID-19.

Some 25 per cent of the fatalities had 2 existing medical conditions and another 25 per cent had just one.

On Thursday, Italy became the country with the most Coronavirus victims in the world. In the last 24 hours, 427 people died and the total number of victims reached 3,405, including 13 doctors.
