According to Lavrov, these restrictions will not be sweeping, but will apply to a number of visa categories.
Earlier this month, Russia added Albania to its ‘enemy list’, along with Montenegro and North Macedonia. It accuses the three countries of actions against the Kremlin.
On February 27, Albania joined the EU in imposing sanctions against Russia for its invasion of Ukraine. The assets of 654 individuals will be frozen and Russian aircrafts are banned from entering Albanian airspace.
