The USA has almost 1 million cases and over 55,000 people have lost their lives. 118,781 have recovered but 15,143 remain in a critical condition. Spain has the second-highest number of cases with 226, 629, followed by Italy with 197,675. France, Germany and the UK make up the top six in terms of the number of cases.

The highest death rates per million are San Marino (1,208), Belgium (612), Andorra (518), Spain (496), Italy (441) France (350) and UK (305).
Albania has had a total of 252 cases per 1 million population and its death rate is 10 per million.
