Twelve new coronavirus cases have been found in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of those affected to 981.
79% of those infected, or 775 of them, have recovered.
The new infections were found in Tirana (7), Fier (2), Kruja (2) and Durres (1).
In the last 24 hours, 174 suspected cases were tested, while since the beginning of March, over 13,000 tests have been conducted. Out of these, 981 were infected, 31 died, 775 have recovered, and 173 are active cases in Tirana, Durres, Kruja and Shkodra.
At two COVID hospitals, 17 patients are currently being treated, 5 of which are in intensive care.
Less than 15 % of those infected need hospital treatment.
