99 new cases of COVID-19 have been found in Albania during the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 3851.
A 44-year old and a 64-year old from Tirana, as well as a 64-year old from Vlora, succumbed to the virus bringing the total number of victims to 104.
The new cases were found in Tirana (40), Fier (6), Kavaja (6), Dibra (5), Mirdita (5), Kruja (4), Devoll (4), Vlora (3), Saranda (3), Malësi e Madhe (3), Durrës (2), Kurbin (2), Korça (2), Elbasan (2), Lezha (2), Has (2), Lushnja (2), Prrenjas (2), Kukës (1), Berat (1), Pogradec (1), and Roskovec (1).
The infected include people who have had contact with previously diagnosed cases, but also new ones into whom epidemiological investigations continue.
2137 people have recovered.
Around 33,000 people have been tested since March.
There are currently 102 patients hospitalized with the virus, 11 are in intensive care, three are intubated in aggravated condition.
1610 cases are still active in the country mainly in Tirana (734), Durrës (209), Shkodra (199), and Vlora (104).
