A 54-year old from Tirana and a 70-year old from Shkodra have succumbed to the virus bringing the total number of victims to 55.
72 new cases of COVID-19 have been found in Albania during the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 2402.
The new cases were found in Tirana (19), Kruja (9), Shkodra (8), Durres (8), Puka (8), Saranda (4), Vlora (4), Fier (3), Lushnja (3), Lezha (2), Korca (1), Elbasan (1), Has (1), and Kavaja (1).
1384 people have recovered.
26292 people have been tested since March.
There are currently 77 patients hospitalized with the virus, 15 are in intensive care, two are intubated.
963 cases are still active in the country in Tirana (371), Durrës (181), Shkodra (162), Vlora (103), Fier (48), Elbasan (12), Korça (26), Lezha (33), Kukës (15), Gjirokastra (7), and Berat (5).
