Albania COVID-19 Update 13 February: 12 Dead, 1,152 Infections, 740 Recoveries

Twelve infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1,543. The victims’ age varies between 58 and 86.

There were 1,152 new cases today, while total cases have amounted to 91,987.

Those recovered in the last 24 hours are 740 people; 55,983 since the beginning of the pandemic.

There are currently 512 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 30 in intensive care, and 17 intubated in aggravated condition.

The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tiranë (510), Durrës (143), Lushnje (74), Fier (58), Kavajë (44), Korçë (38), Tepelenë (34), Elbasan (30), Lezhë (27), Librazhd (26), Shkodër (17), Berat (17), Kurbin (13), Kuçovë (9), Kukës (8), Krujë (7), Vlorë (7), Mat (7), Gjirokastër (7), Kolonjë (7), Ura-Vajgurore (6), Gramsh (6), Kamëz (5), Sarandë (5), Pogradec (4), Cërrik (4), Mirditë (3), Mallakastër (3), Delvinë (3), Malësi e Madhe (3), Skrapar (3), Maliq (3), Devoll (2), Përmet (2), Vau i Dejës (2), Selenicë (2), Himarë (2), Peqin (2), Vorë (2), Has (1), Divjakë (1), Belsh (1), Dibër (1), Patos (1), Poliçan (1), Këlcyrë (1).

34,461 cases remain active in the country: Tirana (20,265), Fier (2,980), Durrës (1,770), Elbasan (1,488), Shkodër (1,497), Vlorë (1,687), Lezhë (1,122),  Korçë (1,036), Berat (1,001), Gjirokaster (799), Kukës (467), and Dibër (349).
