Twelve people infected with COVID-19 have died in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 2,030. The victims’ age varies between 53 and 79.
There were 698 new cases today, while total cases have amounted to 116,821.
Those recovered in the last 24 hours are 690 people; 79,821 since the beginning of the pandemic.
The number of vaccine doses administered so far is 24,653 of which 1018 doses today.
There are currently 492 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 24 in intensive care, and 8 intubated in aggravated condition.
35,970 cases remain active in the country: Tirana (23,379), Fier (2,567), Vlorë (1,578), Durrës (1,656), Shkodër (1,332), Gjirokaster (1,207), Korçë (886), Elbasan (587), Lezhë (731), Berat (382), Dibër (345), and Kukës (320).
