Five people, – aged 57, 60, 62, 67, 82 – infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of victims to 358.
The distribution of deaths is as follows: Tiranë (170), Durrës (46), Shkodër (39), Elbasan (23), Fier (18), Korçë (16), Lezhë (15), Kukës (10), Dibër (8), Vlorë (7), Gjirokastër (4), Berat (2).
153 new cases have been found, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 12,226.
The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tirana (57), Lezhë (15), Krujë (11), Fier (11), Pogradec (11), Vlorë (8), Korçë (6), Lushnjë (4), Mat (4), Gramsh (4), Patos (4), Mallakastër (3). Librazhd (3), two cases in Berat, Divjakë, Maliq, and one case in Durrës, Elbasan, Tepelenë, Malësi e Madhe, Peqin, Memaliaj.
57 people have recovered, bringing the total to 6,888.
There are currently 178 patients hospitalized with the virus, 13 are in intensive care, 5 are intubated in aggravated condition.
4,980 cases are still active in the country: Tiranë (2444), Durrës (559), Shkodër (373), Lezhë (295), Elbasan (274), Korçë (237), Fier (222), Vlorë (189), Kukës (143), Berat (106), Dibër (69), Gjirokastër (69).
