Eleven people infected with COVID-19 have died in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 2,156. The victims’ age varies between 48 and 91.
There were 303 new cases today, while total cases have amounted to 121,847.
Those recovered in the last 24 hours are 651 people; 86,497 since the beginning of the pandemic.
The number of vaccine doses administered so far is 51,690 of which 3,461 doses today.
There are currently 394 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 24 in intensive care, and 5 intubated in aggravated condition.
33,194 cases remain active in the country: Tirana (22,657), Fier (2,616), Durrës (1,447), Vlorë (1,335), Shkodër (1,253), Gjirokaster (1,213), Korçë (762), Lezhë (634), Elbasan (445), Kukës (348), Dibër (332), Berat (152).
