Seventeen people infected with COVID-19 have died in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1,956. The victims’ age varies between 53 and 85.
There were 683 new cases today, while total cases have amounted to 113,580.
Those recovered in the last 24 hours are 697 people; 75,887 since the beginning of the pandemic.
The number of vaccine doses administered so far is 20,275, of which 612 doses today.
There are currently 646 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 40 in intensive care, and 15 intubated in aggravated condition.
35,737 cases remain active in the country: Tirana (23,519), Fier (2,545), Vlorë (1,709), Durrës (1,686), Shkodër (1,329), Gjirokaster (1,209), Korçë (914), Elbasan (769), Lezhë (730), Berat (625), Dibër (346), Kukës (322).
