The Albanian Ministry of Education has set up a working group to take necessary measures to integrate Ukrainian children into schools.
Following the Russian invasion of Ukraine, millions of citizens have fled. There are several hundred Ukrainian citizens temporarily living in Albania, according to the government.
Education Minister Evis Kushi said that additional measures would be introduced for Ukrainian children including psychosocial support.
“Together with the Ambassador of Ukraine Volodymyr Shkurov we discussed the details regarding the organization of this process, in order to offer these children everything they need for a hospitable, warm and friendly environment,” Kushi said.
