The Albanian government has opened the fourth hospital dedicated to Covid-19 patients, amidst hundreds of daily new cases.
It was announced by Minister of Health Ogerta Manastirliu on Monday through a video on social media.
The minister said the opening of the new hospital today was done according to the government plan since the pandemic started.
The four hospitals are all located in Tirana, with the most recent one having a capacity of 100 beds.
Albania reported 12 deaths and 557 new cases today. With 810 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic, November was the worst month with 301 victims succumbing to the virus.
