Albanian citizens seeking to break quarantine due to health emergencies will have to apply for an online permit first.
Prime Minister Edi Rama announced today that permits to circulate for health reasons will now be available to obtain online, on the e-albania app and website.
Alongside the permit, citizens should also carry their medical cards. Permit-holders will be allowed to be accompanied by one other person and a car.
The Prime Minister’s announcement did not give an approximation of the time it will take for this permit to be approved, though in cases of health emergencies time could be of the essence.
