Albania has administered more than 500,000 vaccine doses as of Sunday, nearly one month ahead of Prime Minister Edi Rama’s objective.
Rama announced the news himself on social media, reiterating that it was achieved 29 days earlier.
It remains unclear how many people have received one and two shots.
The next government objective will be the administration of 1 million vaccine doses.
Albania has been using vaccines from Sinovac, Pfizer, Sputnik V, and AstraZeneca.
