Albanian Government Proposes Resolution to Fight Anti-Semitism

The Socialist Party parliamentary group proposed a resolution on anti-Semitism on Monday.

In an announcement on the website of the Assembly, proposing MPs Taulant Balla and Blerina Gjylameti urge the government to fight this phenomenon and take measures to prevent it.

This resolution also defines anti-Semitism as follows:

“Anti-Semitism is a certain perception of Jews, which can be expressed as hatred of Jews. “Rhetorical and physical manifestations of anti-Semitism are directed at Jewish or non-Jewish individuals and/or their property, institutions and religious sites of the Jewish community.”
