The government of Albania has raised the minimum wage from €210 to €240.
The National Labor Council decided to increase the minimum wage from ALL 26,000 to ALL 30,000, Minister of Finance and Economy Anila Denaj announced on Friday.
She said the decision shows that the government pays attention to union demands.
In a second post showing raises in minimum wage throughout the Socialist rule since 2013, Denaj wrote: “All work must be paid in a dignified manner for it to be called dignified work.”
