Greek authorities will keep the Kapshtica border crossing closed until July 3rd, as part of their COVID-19 restrictions, according to Albanian Customs.
No entry from Albania into Greece will be allowed through this land crossing—the restriction applies to all citizens, including EU citizens.
However, up to 400 seasonal workers per day will be allowed entry, provided they are equipped with valid Greek working permits.
Crossing from Greece into Albania will be open for all pedestrians and heavy cargo trucks, between 06:00 and 22:00 every day. However, no passenger vehicles will be allowed to cross.
These restrictions were initially planed to be lifted by the end of June, but authorities have decided to extend them for at least three more days, due to mounting concerns over the pandemic in Greece.
