Albanian Minister of Education Besa Shahini explained today how high school seniors will return to the classroom to prepare for their final exams.
Shahini said that no more than 12 students will be allowed in one classroom, and they will remain 2 meters apart from each other. She added that classrooms would also be sterilized.
High school seniors will not be obligated to return to class. Shahini claimed that schools were reopened primarily because of student demands for preparatory lessons before seniors take their final high school exams.
Schools will be reopened for seniors from May 18 to June 5.
Final high school exams will be held on June 8 (foreign language exam) June 11 (Albanian language exam), June 15 (mathematics), and June 18 (students’ preferred subject).
