Plaurent Dervishaj has been arrested in Dubai after the Albanian police put him on the international wanted list last week. The Special Anti-Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK) prosecutors have charged him with murder.
Lulzim Berisha and Plarent Dervishaj, two former members of the notorious Durrës gang went into hiding before SPAK ordered their arrests, according to information published on December 8.
They stand accused of two murders in 2005, together with four others.
Lulzim Berisha, the former leader of the gang, is still on the run.
