The Albanian police have arrested four people for smuggling 30 migrants in two operations in the north and south of the country.
On Thursday, police reported the arrest of two Albanians in the north-western city of Shkoder for facilitating illegal migration. H.S., 22, resident in Iraq, and E. V., 19, from Tirana were arrested while transporting 14 foreigners to the border with Montenegro for €120 each.
In the south-eastern city of Korce, police arrested E.Sh., 26, and E.L., 27, for facilitating the transportation of 16 foreign illegal migrants planning to enter the EU.
