Prime Minister Edi Rama said he will be vaccinated against COVID-19 this afternoon.
He added that members of the government and the Committee of Experts will be like everyone else and will not be vaccinated with priority.
Today, 975 doses of the vaccine will be given. This is the total number of doses in the country at the moment, donated by a “friendly” EU country whose name he did not mention. He said others will come in the following days from the same country, as well as vaccines from Pfizer.
Some of the 10,750 Pfizer vaccines will be sent to Kosovo to start the vaccination of doctors at the infections diseases hospital in Prishtina.
Rama added that one of the reasons Albania has the vaccine is because he is Prime Minister.
