An explosive device blew up Prosecutor Arjan Muca’s car on Thursday evening in a parking lot in Tirana.
The head of Tirana police, Rebani Jaupi announced the identity of the prosecutor, pointing out that he was temporarily assigned to the High Prosecutorial Council, one of the new justice system institutions in the country.
He stressed that no one was hurt, and that “it was not a vehicle explosion, but an explosion that occurred in the bumper of this vehicle.”
Police are investigating the case and security cameras in the area.
In late 2019, a Vlora prosecutor’s car was blown up, and another prosecutor in Durres was shot in his car.
