The Albanian military and police patrolled the streets of the capital last night to implement restrictive measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus. According to the authorities, no one was found violating the restrictions throughout the night in Tirana.
Reports from other cities also show that people have generally complied with the curfew.
The government has asked that all people stay inside until Monday morning at 5am. They will then be allowed to go to the shops and pharmacy until 1pm. This 5am-1pm window will continue until further notice.
