Tomorrow, Tirana Appeals Prosecution Office prosecutor Gentian Trenova will face the Independent Qualification Commission (KPK) as part of his reassessment.
The KPK judicial body will be made up of Lulzim Hamitaj, Brunilda Bekteshi, and Olsi Komici.
Trenova is part of a priority vetting list as he was selected, via an election by lot, to be member of the Council of Judicial Nominations (KED).
Trenova began his prosecutorial career in 2004. He has worked in the Kurbin Prosecution Office, the Serious Crimes Prosecution Office, and, currently, the Tirana Appeals Prosecution Office.
According to an analysis of his wealth declarations, by BIRN, in 2004, Trenova’s wealth was valued at 4.9 million lekë. In 2015, the prosecutor’s family wealth has increased with a factor of 1.8, to reach a 9 million lekë value.
About 75.4% of Trenova’s family income consists of the prosecutor’s wages, whereas about 17% comes from the wages of other family members.
