The Catholic Archbishop of Albania, George Frendo has announced his recovery from COVID-19.
The news was announced by Fredo himself. He said:
“I thank God that I will be with my flock again soon. Away from the flock, I felt like a head without a body. I am glad that I can continue to celebrate the time of Advent, in preparation for Christmas, together with my people. ”
Frendo diagnosed with COVID-19 was sent to Bari, Italy for treatment.
Orthodox Archbishop Anastasios had also been sent for treatment abroad in Athens, Greece. He was recovering well and was discharged from the hospital only to have his health deteriorate again. He is said to be in a stable condition. The Mufti of Shkodra is still believed to be in Istanbul undergoing treatment.
