At least 110 Buildings Damaged by Friday’s Quakes in Albania

At least 35 building have suffered significant damages, and 75 moderate damages caused by a series of tremors in the Diber District in northeast Albania.

The information comes for the assessment conducted by the Prefecture of Diber. However, the assessment for the Bulqize, the largest municipality of the district is not yet completed.

Diber was hit by a series of shocks, on Friday, starting with a 3.3 magnitude and a 4,7 magnitude hitting within seconds of each-other around 6 am in the morning. Three other shocks of 3.6, 3.7 and 3,8 magnitude hit during the day.

No injuries were reported while hundreds of buildings suffered light to moderate damages.
