At Risk Groups Will Have Medicine Delivered to Avoid Exposure to COVID-19

People over 65 and the chronically ill who live alone will have their medicine delivered at home to avoid them leaving their houses unnecessarily and risking coronavirus infection.

Today, the Obligatory Healthcare Insurance Fund (FSDKSh) instructed pharmacies on how to serve these people in their homes, following all the precautions regarding distance and preventative materials.

Initially, patients will have to talk to their primary care doctors in order to acquire a prescription. Afterwards, the prescription will be sent to the pharmacy that will prepare a parcel to deliver it to their homes.
