During August, there were 4,237 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 127 victims in Albania.
A total of 2,260 recovered from the virus.
The day that registered the most number of confirmed cases was August 24 where 178 infected were confirmed. The days with the most casualties were August 3, 5, 6, 9, 14, and 15 where six were reported each day.
29 August saw the lowest number of cases with 88 and the days with the least number of deaths were 7 August and 10 August where only one was recorded.
In terms of recovered patient, 158 were reported on 27 August and the least, 9, on 1 August.
The total number of confirmed cases since the beginning of the pandemic is 9,514 and there have been 284 deaths. Some 5,214 of confirmed cases have recovered.
