Conference Takes Place in Tirana to Inspire Youth Leaders

Over 210 citizens took part in the 5th LEAPin Albania event at the end of November to listen to speakers in politics, art, education, entrepreneurship, journalism, media, and culture. The idea was to expose participants to motivational discourse and to motivate youth to achieve their goals. Additionally, LEAPin wanted to drive civil engagement and demonstrate how being part of the community improves their future.

“We are thrilled to be holding for the fifth year the LEAPin Albania 2021. Our shared vision is to activate, empower and strengthen the youth potential through assistance, education, networking and knowledge sharing to improve the workforce and professionalism in Albania” said Marilo Meta, LDA Balkan President & Leader Salesforce Community Albania.

He added,” We believe that the young people’s potential is a movement for the future and for a better tomorrow. We encourage young people in Albania to become involved in youth organizations. Our message is to support and help each other with progressive principles for the future of the country. “

Speakers included senior leaders of LDA Balkan from throughout the region, professors, economic experts, CEOs, politicians, and environmentalists.

A partner of the event was UTDS Optimal Choice, and director Richard Russel gave a keynote presentation. He told the audience, “Your reputation is key. Build it through how you behave and what you can do for others. Push yourself to be better daily. You are tomorrow’s leaders and one day you might be asked to do a talk like this, make sure you do things now to give you the experience to give a better presentation than I ever could.”

Co-Founder of UTDS Optimal Choice, Marsel Leka, said, “In recent years there has been an explosion of business opportunities in Albania. With this in mind it is imperative that the new generation of young professionals have the best possible support to achieve success. With UTDS being part of this conference we hope that we can be part of this vital support network.”
