Construction work for the “Book Building” tower located in the vicinity of the Municipality of Tirana started this week. The construction site was surrounded with fence panels.
The permit for the “Book Building” was issued by the National Territory Council, headed by Prime Minister Edi Rama.
The tall building is part of the larger project seen in the image below, which includes several buildings. It was designed by 51N4E – PM Rama’s favorite architectural firm that also designed Skanderbeg Square and The Plaza Hotel.
The construction company Techno-Alb shpk is owned by Dajlan Avdia, Glendi Abdia and Natasha Mata. In November 2017, PM Rama also approved two other building permits for another company owned by Dajlan Avdia and Glendi Avdia – Invest Society shpk. The two buildings located in the Bllok area are “Blloku” and “West Residence”. Construction work for “Blloku” started in August 2018.
“Book Building” is the third tower around Skanderbeg Square to get the approval of PM Rama in the recent months. The other two are a 111-metre-high tower behind the Hotel Tirana International, and a 26-floor-tower called “Eyes of Tirana” located on the western side of the square.
