Today, the Bank of Albania suspended loan payments for three months. Persons and businesses that have taken out loans from all banks in Albania will be exempt from payment obligations for the next three months.
Additionally, during this period, banks will not fine those who fail to pay off their bank loans on time.
This was decided in order to avoid long queues in banks and to eliminate physical contact as much as possible.
