COVID-19 Infections Decreasing, Measures to be Reassessed

The Head of Epidemiology at the Institute of Public Health, Silva Bino has stated that the situation in the country is stabilizing.

In an interview with Euronews, she said there is a decrease in the number of infected and that the Committee of Experts will assess the situation to see whether additional measures are needed.

“Our situation is the same as in all other Balkan countries and currently the Balkans have a decrease in the number of cases. Tomorrow we will have a reassessment of the last week and the two before and we will decide whether to implement more austerity measures or not.”

Bino advised that people should avoid moving between cities and should not gather for festive celebrations.
