Seven officials from the Ministry of Education and Sports have filed a criminal lawsuit against Minister Mirela Karabina. The lawsuit includes accusations of abuse of office and physical abuse of Ministry of Education and Sports employees.
Minister Karabina was one of the ministers proposed by the PD as part of the McAllister+ agreement.
In a press statement, the Ministry responds to the accusations as follows:
The irregularities and illegal situation at the Ministry of Education and Sports declared by Minister Mirela Karabina, since the second week that she directed this institution, are confirmed by the act of a public statement, this time even by several employees of the institution of the Ministry of Education and Sports. Such actions show the urgent necessity for a radical reform of the public administration. We invite the institution of the Prosecution to investigate with the greatest seriousness this absurd situation created in the Ministry of Education and Sports.
