Curfew Increased to 18 Hours a Day in Albania Due to Coronavirus Crisis

The government has increased the curfew to 18 hours a day in an attempt to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the country.

Starting from tomorrow, people will be allowed to go out only from 6am to 10am and 4pm to 6pm. The announcement was made by Prime Minister Rama today.

He also announced that it’s not allowed to walk in pairs or in a group. Those who will be caught not complying with the rule with be fined ALL 10,000 (€85). Social assistance will also be cut for those who break the rule.
