Gucati’s laywer, Tome Gashi confirmed that his client is going to be transferred in The Hague. This makes the second arrest from the Kosovo Specialist Prosecutor’s Office in less than 24 hours.
The Hague based Kosovo Specialist Chambers is set to try former KLA members indicted by the Specialist Prosecutor’s Office for alleged crimes committed during and after the war in Kosovo (1998- 2000).

The head of Kosovo Liberation Army War Veterans Association, Hysni Gucati has been arrested on Friday by EULEX police.
Gucati was seen taken out of his office handcuffed, while the raids at the premises are still taking place.
As the police officers of the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo continue with their operation, the Kosovo Police is positioned outside the building.
