The European Commission has made €2 million available to Intervet, or the Internationalisation of VET systems in the Western Balkans.
The project will work towards improving the culture of learning mobility in the field of Vocational Education and Training mobility by educating VET teachers and headmasters about resources and opportunities in the sector. It is hoped that this will increase their competences in managing and planning mobility projects.
The project will be implemented via associations, VET schools and SMEs in six countries including Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia, as well as eight EU Member States. Intervet is coordinated by Uniser Societa Cooperative Sociale Onlus in Italy.
The projects will start their rollout by the end of January 2020 and confirms the EC’s commitment to investing in young people, education, and skills.
