A fire has broken out in the basement of the National Library. Currently the fire brigade is working to bring the fire under control. It is unclear where precisely the fire broke out and whether the books and archives housed in the basement have been damaged.
The library employees and visitors have been evacuated and are outside the building. No injuries have been reported.
