“Tonight in the evening I was notified by the Specialist Chambers that there is a confirmed indictment against me,” Selimi wrote on Facebook.

He said that tomorrow he will travel to The Hague “to face this challenge posed to the Kosovo Liberation Army, first and foremost.”

“I am going with my head up and whenever I return, I will come back with my head up because I was, I am and I will be a soldier of Kosovo Liberation Army for which I am ready to give everything,” Selimi wrote.

“The ideal of that glorious army is beyond me, beyond everyone and everything,” he aded.

During the war Selimi served at the KLA’s headquarters.

Alongside his party’s members, Selimi strongly opposed establishing of the Specialist Chambers.

Earlier today, The Hague-based courts arrested the former political spokesperson of KLA, Jakup Krasniqi after a nine-hour-raid in his house.

The Kosovo Specialist Chambers and Specialist Prosecutor’s Office were established five years ago, in August 2015, by the Kosovo Parliament to investigate possible crimes  committed by former Kosovo Liberation Army members.
