Macedonian VMRO-DPMNE leader and former Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski responded to opposition leader Zoran Zaev’s proposal to introduce official bilingualism in Macedonia:
What Zaev is declaring for the Swiss model in Macedonia, by making the Albanian language official throughout the entire territory, only proves what I have said earlier. Citizens of Macedonia will never vote Zaev’s proposals to divide Macedonia.
