The Albanian government plans to complete the vaccination of the whole population by next spring.
Minister of Health Ogerta Manastirliu said on Friday that the personnel and equipment are on standby, adding that the number of patients in intensive care and deaths have decreased.
“We are in control of epidemic outbreak, we would like to see this as a moment of regeneration. This year showed us that we must be prepared for anything,” she said.
Within May, the vaccination of high risk groups and people over 60 years will be completed.
