The office of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has announced that the June 27 meeting at the White House between Kosovo and Serbia has been postponed indefinitely.
“In consultation with President Vucic, after the cancellation by the Albanians, [US envoy Richard] Grenell has decided to postpone the meeting,” the office told Tanjug news agency on Thursday.
The news comes after Kosovo’s Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti cancelled his participation earlier on the same day due to developments in his country related to President Hashim Thaci’s indictment for war crimes and crimes against humanity.
Grenell thanked Hoti and said they look forward to re-scheduling the meeting soon.
